Did you know, THAT IGNORANCE IS A SILENT BUT SWIFT KILLER , JUST AS BEING INFORMED KEEPS YOU BREATHING?

 Hello friends,today is an exciting day for me as I write and upload my first blog post.

Untill now I have being procrastinating and finally today I have overcome my reasons for procrastinating,which I tag as "fear or doubt" but  on a second thought,it non of the above but "Ignorance", because you can only fear what you do not know.

KNOWLEDGE KILLS IGNORANCE,SEARCH FOR IT , LIKE IT YOUR LAST MEAL TICKET. 

It true what they say , information is knowledge and knowledge is power and when you do not have the knowledge,you miss out on a great deal of opportunities.Now I am not trying  to overplay the role of knowledge,but you see , knowledge is so powerful that I can effonterily equate it to  good health,because with mental wellness comes the transformation of every part of the body and life itself. Doctors say that 60 to 80 percent of unhealthy problems of human beings is psychosomatic which owes it origin to two Greek words called "psycho and soma "which stand for "soul and body" This is why I detest ignorance,lack of knowledge ,not being aware,not being informed, however you would like to put it, ignorance is simply ignorance.

 This is why it infuriating to see women,young girls being suppressed, marginalized because they are unaware of the power they possess on the inside.It provoking to see people show little interest in the political affairs of their state  simply because of the common phrase "politics  is a dirty game" if this isn't ignorance what is?  However the most annoying is when I see youths shying away from affairs of their state not because they do not want to but because they have come to believe in the norms that they were sensitized into ever since they were kids through the socialization process.Thus norms like "youths are to young to lead,they are not ready for leadership,they are not the leaders of today but tomorrow,are very  common from the part of the world were I come from.Do not be decieved you are the leaders of today.This is what I have to say to this incredulous norms.

However whenever the issue  youths in leadership is raised,the optimum candidate usually referred to is the male youths and not female youth as it a universal belief that she doesn't have what it takes to lead.But today I am proud to be a part of  a generation of youths and women who are finally realizing the power of voicing out,I say this due to recent happenings in the world, particularly the youths revolutionary  protest movement that took place in Nigeria.And this protest which I call a revolution would not have being possible without ignorance releasing her grip over us.

Which brings us to the aim of the GINA BATUAMPOST BLOG.In this blog, you will find information on news update relating to socio-economic and political issues,you will see emphasis on  and clarification on political concepts often misconstrued universally, due to it controversial nature and most importantly you will find orthetic facts, data, information knowledge relating to women empowerment related issues topics anything and everything that will encourage women and Young girls to add their voices to the fight for gender equality.Mind you gender equality doesn't mean men and women are going to be equal  neither does it indicates feministic tendencies,it simply means human Right.
